VALEDICTORY CEREMONY IN HONOUR OF THE RETIRETMENT OF DSP MOSES NNYAM
STATE COMMAND HEADQUARTERS, PORT HARCOURT: 30TH JANUARY 2026
It was a ceremony filled with encomiums as DSP Moses Nnyam of the Police Public Relations Dept was sent forth at a retirement party held in his honour.
The PCRC was ably represented by the State Chairman (who though unavoidably absent, was represented by the State Deputy Secretary, Esimvie Osuamkpe), the Financial Secretary, Clifford Wilcox, the Publicity Secretary, Sonny Tubotamuno Akubom, and a state member, Maxwell Enebeli.
In attendance were the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Fin. & Admin.), DCP Samuel Erale, and the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Admin.), ACP Titilola A. Akanbi and of course, his colleagues in the Police Public Relations office, led by the State Police PRO, CSP Grace Iringe-Koko, as well as former colleagues now retired, and members of his family.
DSP Moses Nnyam, who was variously described by various speakers as diligent, hardworking, focused, disciplined, passionate about his work, reliable and an asset in crime scene photography, was extremely grateful to God for keeping him and enabling him to conclude his service in the Nigeria Police Force honourably. He was particularly grateful that he was one of the only 2 among his mates who was able to rise to the rank of a Deputy Superintendent of Police.
One of the highlights of the occasion, which was anchored by Angel De Laff, Ambassador of the Nigeria Police Force, was the conferment of automatic membership of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) on DSP Moses Nnyam, and the presentation of an award in honour of his meritorious service to the Nation and Humanity, through his collaboration with the PCRC.
