STATE CHAIRMAN'S RETREAT WITH DIVISIONAL CHAIRMEN

POLICE OFFICERS MESS, PORT HARCOURT: 5TH FEBRUARY 2026

In a bid to equip more leaders of the PCRC with the tools for improved service delivery, the PCRC Rivers State Command held a 1-day retreat for divisional chairmen at the Police Officers' Mess Port Harcourt. This is the 3rd in a series of such retreats in the Amb Voke Emore led administration, following one for the State Executive Council members in the beginning of 2024, another for the Area Command Chairmen in 2025, and this one for the Divisional Chairmen in 2026.

The highly interactive retreat had in attendance, more than 45 Divisional Chairmen drawn from 8 of the Area Commands in the state, as well as the heads of the Youth Committee, Women's Committee, the Bikers Unit, and the State/Corporate Coordinator.

Lectures were delivered by resource persons from within the State and beyond, including Hon. Austen Yong, National Coordinator PCRC Monitoring Unit, and the Special Adviser to the National Chairman on Special Duties, DCP Samuel Erale, DFA Rivers State Police Command, Clifford Wilcox, State Financial Secretary, and Esimvie Osuamkpe, State Deputy Secretary.

Speaking at the retreat, the State Chairman encouraged the Chairmen to apply the knowledge received in their various commands for improved efficiency.
