POLICE OFFICERS' MESS: 13TH FEBRUARY 2026

The PCRC Rivers State Command was among the stakeholders invited to an interactive lecture on Police Constitutional Powers and Citizens' Rights During Police Interactions. The lecture, which was at the instance of the Police Service Commission, was designed to address human rights violations within the Police and to further deepen Community Policing in the country, was delivered by Dr Olayinka B. Balogun CP (Rtd).

The event had in attendance the Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State, CP Iyamah Daniel, and his Rivers State counterpart, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, and officers from the rank of inspectors up to Chief Superintendents of Police (CSP) drawn from various divisions and units from both Bayelsa and Rivers State. 

The PCRC was represented by the State Chairman, Amb. Voke Emore, the Deputy Secretary, Esimvie Osuamkpe, Organising Secretary, Nnamdi Esimai, Provost, High Chief Nathan Onumajuru, State/Corporate Coordinator, Amb. Dcn. Donald Osifoh, Chairman Isiokpo Area Command, Rev. Dr Ebenezer Didia. Also in attendance were some Honorary Mess Committee members, led by the President, Engr. Onengiyeofori Hector Fenibo.
