NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEETING, ABUJA: 20TH AUGUST 2026
The National Executive Council Meeting of the Police Community Relations Committee held at Abuja on August 20th 2026. The meeting, presided over by the National Chairman, Alhaji Mogaji Ibraheem Olaniyan, was co-hosted by states in the South-South Geopolitical Zone, and had in attendance members of the National Working Council, Chairmen of Zonal Commands and State Commands and Heads of Committees. The Rivers State Command was represented by the State Deputy Secretary, Esimvie Osuamkpe.
Prior to the meeting, the National Working Council of the PCRC received a delegation from the Police Complaints Response Unit (CRU), led by SP Fidelis Awu, at the PCRC Secretariat on Wednesday 19th August, and then joined the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Disu in celebrating the International Youth Day with the Police on the 20th of August..
