The PCRC visited the Permanent Secretary, Rivers State Ministry of Health, on the 6th of October 2026.
The team, led by the State Chairman, Dr Voke Emore, included Esimvie Osuamkpe (Deputy Secretary), Juliet Isaac (Welfare Secretary), Nnamdi Esimai (Organising Secretary) Dcn. Amb. Donald Osifoh (State/Corporate Coordinator), Confidence Woko (Youth Coordinator), Engr. Darlene Tasie Akpan (Women Coordinator), Nonye Maryann Ikwue-Omakwu (SA to the State Chairman on Secretariat Matters), and Maryann Anthony (Social Media Head).
The Permanent Secretary, Dr Vincent Nwachukwu, was very pleased that the PCRC opted to take up the fight against drug abuse, recalling the menace caused by drug use and abuse in our society. He admitted that the matter was not only limited to the youth, as many adults were also involved with drugs.
He also commended the police for what they have been doing to maintain peace and order.
