COURTESY VISIT TO THE 6 DIVISION, NIGERIAN ARMY, BORI CAMP, PORT HARCOURT: 8TH OCTOBER 2026
The Police Community Relations Committee paid a visit to the 6 Division, Nigerian Army, on the 8th of October, 2026. The team, led by the State PCRC Chairman, Dr Voke Emore, also included Esimvie Osuamkpe (Deputy Secretary), Nnamdi Esimai (Organising Secretary), Juliet Isaac (Welfare Secretary), and Engr. Darlene Tasie Akpan (Women Coordinator).
The PCRC was received by Major General Everest Ifeanyi Okoro, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 6 Division of the Nigerian Army & Land Component Commander of Joint Task Force, Operation Delta Safe, who was supported by his management staff, including Brig. Gen. D.E. Adamu (COS), Brig. Gen. O.U. Eke (Comd. 6 Engr. Bde), Brig. Gen. A.S. Aliyu (Comd. 6 MIB), Col. E.E. Ibans (Comd. 6 Div. Prov. GP), Col. J. Michael (DCOS - Admin), Col. A.S. Olashegbe (DCOS - Operations), and Lt. Col. Robert representing the DCOS - Logistics. The event was anchored by Lt Col A.U. Umar (Public Relations).
