NEW POLICE DEPLOYMENTS! IGP TASKS COMMISSIONERS WITH STRONGER SECURITY AND INTELLIGENCE-LED POLICING
The Nigeria Police Force has announced a fresh deployment of senior officers to key formations as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen operational effectiveness and improve policing services across the country.
Among the deployments is the movement of officers to the Department of Finance and Administration and the FCID Annex in Gombe, including CP Danbaba Mohammed Labbo.
The Inspector-General of Police charged the newly deployed Commissioners to leverage their experience and expertise to strengthen intelligence-led policing, operational performance, professionalism, accountability, and community engagement.
The officers were also urged to remain committed to protecting lives and property while maintaining discipline and delivering quality services to members of the public.
According to the Nigeria Police Force, the latest deployments form part of a broader reform agenda focused on strengthening internal capacity, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring more effective policing across the country.
The IGP further emphasized the importance of building stronger relationships with communities while ensuring that Police personnel remain accountable, professional, and responsive in the discharge of their duties.
