50,000 Police Jobs Up for Grabs! PSC Announces Screening Dates — See If You’re Shortlisted

If you applied for the Nigeria Police recruitment, this is the update you’ve been waiting for.

The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has officially announced the commencement of the physical and credential screening exercise for applicants in the ongoing recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables nationwide.

For candidates in Rivers State, the screening exercise will run from March 9, 2026 to April 18, 2026.

📍 Screening Venue in Rivers State

All shortlisted applicants are required to appear at:

Alfred Diete-Spiff Civic Centre, Moscow Road.

Candidates must be dressed in:

  • White canvas shoes
  • White T-shirt
  • White shorts

🖥️ What You Must Do Immediately

Applicants who successfully completed the online registration must:

  1. Log in to the official recruitment portal: npfapplication.psc.gov.ng
  2. Check their application status
  3. Print the following mandatory documents:
  • Guarantors Form
  • Application Submission Slip
  • Invitation Slip
  • Credential Screening Form
  • Physical Screening Form

Failure to present these documents on your assigned date and time will result in disqualification.

📂 Required Documents for Screening

Candidates must come along with:

  • Invitation Slip (with assigned table indicated)
  • Credential Screening Form
  • Original NIN printout or National ID Card issued by NIMC
  • O’ Level Certificate (GCE/SSCE)
  • Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
  • LGA/State of Origin Certificate
  • Trade Test/Certificate (for specialist applicants only)
  • Completed and signed Guarantors Form (with referees’ valid ID photocopies and passport photos)
  • Original and duplicate copies of all credentials (packaged in two white flat files with recent passport photographs attached)

⚠️ Important Notice

The Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Command, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, psc, mnips, has wished all shortlisted applicants success and reassured the public that recruitment will strictly follow the provisions of the Police Act and Regulations.

Applicants are strongly advised to:

  • Maintain order and discipline
  • Avoid any misconduct
  • Ignore any request for payment

The screening exercise is completely free of charge.
