POLICE WEEK DAY 2 2026: RIVERS STATE COMMAND LEADS MASSIVE ROAD WALK FOR COMMUNITY TRUST AND PARTNERSHIP
POLICE WEEK CELEBRATIONS, DAY 2: 31 MARCH 2026
31st March was the 2nd day of the celebrations marking the Police Week for 2026. The theme for this year is "Community Partnership: Building Trust." Day 2 was the turn of the various state commands to celebrate.
At the Rivers State Command, the Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, accompanied by his management team and officers and men of different Area Commands, Divisions and Tactical Units went on a road walk and public enlightenment campaign.
The police contingent was supported by other stakeholders such as the Police Officers Wives' Association (POWA), the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), the Honorary Mess Committee, the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), and more. The large crowd held the city spellbound as they wound their way through some of the popular streets in Port Harcourt.
