PCRC ELECTIONS, OMAGWA DIVISIONAL HEADQUARTERS:10TH APRIL 2026
History was made when the PCRC, Omagwa Divisional Headquarters, held her elections on Friday, 10th April 2026. For the first time ever, a lady not only contested for the position of the chairman but also won.
The elections were observed by Esimvie Osuamkpe, State Deputy Secretary, and Nnamdi Esimai, State Organising Secretary. Other officers at the elections included the Isiokpo Area Command Chairman, Rev. Dr Ebenezer Didia, Prophet Mummy Angel (Isiokpo Area Command), the DPO Omagwa, CSP Stella Peters, and the SO, ASP Kisa Daniel, who had been standing in for the caretaker committee ever since the Divisional executive council was dissolved.
At the conclusion of the elections, which was conducted by the electoral committee, headed by Kingsley Okpaka, the following people were returned elected:
1. Amb. Victoria Stephen - Chairman
2. Godswill Wakama - Vice Chairman
3. Pastor Levi Wiche - Deputy Secretary
4. Odionye Wohale - Financial Secretary
5. Promise Nsirim - Auditor
6. ThankGod Chijioke - Publicity Secretary
7. Dr Ethel Ugwo - Treasurer
8. Chief Frank Assor - Provost
In her remarks after the elections, the DPO harped on the need for the PCRC to step up on providing actionable intelligence to the Police, promising to work in tandem with the new exco.
The Isiokpo Area Command Chairman, the State Organising Secretary, and the State Deputy Secretary all took turns to encourage the new officers.
