The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), in partnership with stakeholders committed to public safety, is gearing up for a massive War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) Rally taking place on Thursday, October 30th, 2025.

The rally, themed around promoting a drug-free society and safeguarding the future of young Nigerians, will kick off by 9:00 AM prompt at the New Convocation Arena, University of Port Harcourt, Abuja Campus.

Mobilization in Full Gear

All PCRC State, Division, and Area Command Members are strongly encouraged to participate. Members are expected to appear in:

✅ PCRC T-shirt

✅ Black or Blue Jeans / Trousers

Chapters should come along with banners or flags for proper identity and visibility during the road walk.

The Youth Wing and Women Wing are equally urged to show strong representation, as they play a crucial role in championing the anti-drug abuse message across communities.

Road Walk for a Drug-Free Society

This major public sensitization effort aims to:

✨ Raise awareness on the dangers of illicit drug use

✨ Promote responsible and healthy living among young people

✨ Strengthen community partnership in fighting drug-related crimes

✨ Support law enforcement and health agencies in WADA initiatives

With the steady rise in drug trafficking and substance misuse among teenagers and young adults, public enlightenment remains a critical tool in prevention.
