ONE-CHANCE GANG BUSTED! RIVERS POLICE ARREST TWO SUSPECTED ROBBERS
The Rivers State Police Command has recorded another major operational success in its sustained war against one-chance robbery syndicates, following the arrest of two suspected members of a notorious gang operating within the State.
Acting on the directives of the Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga Adewole Adepoju, PSC, mnips, FCAI, operatives of the Command carried out an intelligence-led operation that led to the arrest of the suspects.
The arrested suspects have been identified as:
Uche Samuel (Male, 45) from Omunato LGA, Imo State.
Nkechi Amadi (Female, 42) from Nekede, Imo State.
During interrogation, the suspects allegedly confessed to their involvement in one-chance robbery operations. The Police disclosed that investigations have been expanded, with efforts currently underway to apprehend other members of the criminal syndicate.
The Commissioner of Police reiterated that the Rivers State Police Command has declared an all-out offensive against one-chance operators and all forms of violent crime across the State.
According to CP Adepoju, there will be no hiding place for criminals, as the Command will continue to deploy intelligence-driven policing and proactive operations to identify, arrest, and prosecute offenders.
He further reassured residents of the Command's unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property while urging members of the public to remain vigilant and continue providing credible and timely information that will assist security agencies in preventing crime.
The Rivers State Police Command reaffirmed that the fight against one-chance robbery remains a top priority and pledged to sustain operations aimed at making Rivers State safer for all residents.
