WADA: War Against Drug Abuse 2025
UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT, CHOBA: 30TH OCTOBER 2025
The much touted War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) Rally held at the University of Port Harcourt on the 30th October 2025.
The colourful event was well attended by representatives from different PCRC groups such as the various Area Commands, Divisions, the State/Corporate members, Women's Committee and Youth Committee.
Some of our partners, who were fully on ground to drive home the message include the Vice Chancellor, University of Port, Prof. Owunari Georgewill, the Dean Students Affairs, and the University management team, the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, represented by CSP Ahmed Doma, DPO Choba Division, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), the International Federation of Female Lawyers (FIDA), the Federal Road Safety Corps, Chifour Properties, the Movement Against Drugs and Antisocial Vices (MADAV), the Rivers International Film Festival (RIFF) team, and others. Some secondary schools were also well represented.
