PCRC Rivers State Command Childre's Day Celebration With Police Community Secondary School May 2025
The PCRC celebrated Children's Day 2025 with the Police Community Secondary School yesterday, 26th May 2025. The event, which had guests from some schools within the Port Harcourt Metropolis, featured motivational talks by Okechukwu Onuchukwu, a pilot from Bristow Helicopters, who also promised a free excursion to Bristow Helicopter facilities for some students, to give them first hand experience of the workings of the company, & a brief drama by some Nollywood actors to draw attention to the dangers of substance abuse among other vices. Igwe Nnamdi Brown, a 3 Star Huawei partner, took the students on a tour of Artificial Intelligence (AI), also promising to instal an AI server free of charge for the school when the framework was ready. Kate Ezeigbo, a Nollywood practitioner and head of the Rivers International Film Festival, encouraged the students to build the right mind sets for better career choices. A spelling bee contest also attracted various prizes. Cash gifts & PCRC branded items were also given to them.
