PCRC Rivers State and FIDA Organizes Paralegal Training For Police Officers
On the ,17th of June 2025, the Federation of Female Lawyers, (FIDA), Rivers State Chapter, & the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Rivers State Command, jointly conducted a very fruitful and enlightening paralegal training for Police Officers, drawn from human rights desks across the state.The DC Finance & Admin, DCP Samuel Erale who stood in for the Rivers State Commissioner of Police until his arrival, recognised human rights abuse as a major source of friction in the relationship between the Police and the general populace. He confessed that the police needed this type of training from time to time.
While delivering his address, Voke Emore, the PCRC State Chairman, commended the Rivers State Police Command for the frequent training programmes organised for their officers and men. He thanked all for making the effort to attend and hoped that the training would be very beneficial to each participant. Certificates were awarded to the participants at the end of the one-day training.
