PCRC Rivers Command General Meeting & End of Year Ceremony Nov 2024
Thursday, 21st November was not only our usual monthly meeting, but we also had our End of Year & Award Ceremony, which was the first in a series of activities to mark the end of the PCRC year for 2024. The colourful event had in attendance not only our usual members, but also the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, his entire management team, representatives from Zone 16, our partners from sister agencies, media houses and the academia, amongst others. Awards were given to two (2) persons who have distinguished themselves as pillars of support to the PCRC. Other activities still ahead include a football tournament (among other sports & games) in honour of the late Chief Of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Taoreed A. Lagbaja on Saturday, 23rd, featuring teams drawn from the Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, the Federal Road Safety Corps, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, the Police Mess Committee, and others. A visit to an orphanage will follow, then a thanksgiving service on the 24th
