PCRC MONTHLY MEETING, OFFICERS' MESS: 18TH JUNE 2026
The June meeting of the Police Community Relations Committee was held at the Police Officers' Mess on Thursday, 18th June 2026. The Deputy Chairman, Sir Chief Eben Ogan JP, stood in for the State Chairman, Dr Voke Emore, who joined the meeting later.
In attendance were delegates and members from divisions and area commands all over the state and beyond, a representative of the International Federation of Female Lawyers (FIDA) and other guests.
Activities included discussions, the induction of new members, the cutting of a birthday cake by members whose birthdays fell in the month of June, and the commissioning of some plastic chairs donated by the PCRC by the President of the Police Officers Mess Committee, DCP Suleiman Abdullahi, who also used the opportunity to do a facility tour of the premises with a view to upgrading recreational facilities. The PCRC promised to partner with the Mess in achieving her goals.
