Flagoff of the Ember Months Safety Campaign 2024
On the 7th of November 2024, activities marking the Flagoff of the Ember Months Safety Campaign, of the Federal Road Safety Corps came to a close with a Townhall Meeting, with the theme: Speak Up Against Dangerous Driving: Crashes kill more passengers. Guests were drawn from sister security agencies and other stakeholders including the Nigerian Customs Service, the Nigerian Immigration Service, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, representatives of various transport companies, National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, the Federal Fire Service, the Northern Community in Rivers State, and of course, the Police Community Relations Committee. The Zonal Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, RS 6 HQ, and the Rivers State Governor were also ably represented.
