BURIAL OF THE LATE CHIEF (ELDER) EMMANUEL A. OBI, JP, NWANGELE, IMO STATE: 17TH JUNE 2026

The remains of late Chief (Elder) Emmanuel A. Obi, JP, were laid to rest at his country home in Nwangele, Imo State on Wednesday, 17th June 2026. Until his unfortunate demise, Elder Emma Obi, as he was fondly called was the Chairman of the PCRC Mini-Okoro and a former Chairman of the PCRC Elekahia Division.

The PCRC was well represented at the burial by the State Deputy Chairman, Sir Chief Eben Emman Ogan JP (representing the State Chairman, Dr Voke Emore), who led a delegation comprising some members of the State Executive Council and some PCRC Elders and together joined hands with the Mini-Okoro Area Command and Elekahia Division to pay last respects to our beloved elder and member. Other Area Commands represented include the Eleme Area Command and the Port Harcourt Area Command. Also in attendance was ACP Lawan Yunus, the immediate past Area Commander, Mini-Okoro Area Command.
