2024 Ember Months Safety Campaign by PCRC, FRSC & NDLEA

As part of the Ember Months Road Safety Campaign, on the 6th of November 2024, the PCRC partnered with the Federal Road Safety Corps on a motorcade road show. Others who joined the road show were the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency and the Road Safety Bikers' Club, who added colour to the event. The road show took off from the FRSC Aba Road headquarters, with stops at popular junctions such as Isaac Boro Park, Garrison, Waterlines, Rumuola junction, Artillery Junction, and terminated at the ever busy Eleme Junction. At each stop, flyers were distributed to passersby, and the message of staying safe on our roads was spread. The motorcade then took the East - West Road, up to Eliozu flyover, then returned to base. The Sector Commander, CC Inyang Edet Umoh, was very appreciative of the part that the PCRC in particular and all the other partners played in contributing to the success of the day's event. He also debunked the belief that the so-called Ember months were more dangerous than the others.
