PCRC State Chairman, Voke Emore, Honored with Humanitarian Service Award by Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Elites

On 6th September 2025, the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Elites proudly conferred a Humanitarian Service Award on the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Rivers State Chairman, Voke Emore.

This recognition highlights the growing partnership between the Rotary Club and the PCRC, particularly in promoting peace, community service, and collaboration between the police and citizens.

The Reason Behind the Award

The award was presented in acknowledgment of the peace-building initiatives led by the PCRC, including its partnership with Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Elites during the successful Peace Walk held earlier this year.

The Peace Walk brought together community leaders, security agencies, and residents in a united call for harmony, security, and stronger community ties.

A Symbol of Commitment to Community Service

By honoring Voke Emore, the Rotary Club has reaffirmed the importance of collaborative action between civil society and security agencies in tackling challenges such as insecurity, crime prevention, and youth engagement.

This award not only celebrates the leadership of the PCRC Rivers State Chairman but also encourages continued synergy between the PCRC and organizations like Rotary International in delivering humanitarian service and strengthening public trust.
